Traditional "Figaro" hazelnut truffle is a blend of hazelnut butter and milk and dark chocolate. Hazelnut butter is like peanut butter but with that distinctive hazelnut richness that we all remember. If you are unsure of what hazelnut tastes like, think of Frangelico Liqueur or Nutella!
We pour a layer of dark chocolate mixed with the hazelnut butter, then a layer of milk chocolate mixed with the hazelnut butter! Then we slices them into small squares. These have NO chunks of nuts, just the hazelnuts ground finely into a paste, so they are easy to eat if you require soft candies, but enjoy the taste of nuts!
